MPHY0018 Biomedical Ultrasound
We teach a one-term module on Biomedical Ultrasound for final year undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and medical students taking an intercalated year studying Medical Physics. This provides an introduction to the physics, mathematics, and instrumentation of biomedical ultrasound. The module includes several practical demonstrations, including a clinical tutorial on ultrasound imaging from Dr Ali Abbasi of UCLH, the hospital linked to UCL.
